Today, we went to the neurologist to hear the results of the EEG. It wasn’t a good day for us.

The EEG showed evidence of seizure activity. No obvious seizures but activity was present.

The doctor told Owen he can’t drive.

And this put Owen in another place. He kept shaking his head and said he will drive regardless.

He told the doctor that he can’t stay confined.

He told me that he is going to do what he wants to do.

I said the cost of that would be me. And everyone around him. Constant stress. And his suggestion to carry on traveling without me was the most worrisome. I said if a medical emergency would occur in the plane, how long before we could get help? How about the people traveling and how an emergency would affect them?

It is becoming more clear to me that he can’t be alone.
