I remember my days at LRMC. I probably got about 15,000 steps in daily, at the least. Yesterday, while Owen was in getting his first round of radiation, I had to get his chemo meds and meet with his other doc and care team. I got my steps in early yesterday. I forgot how large that hospital is… His chemo doc said that based on how the radiation goes, we may or may not have to start a new chemo treatment at the end of this 42 day run. Praying that this aggressive plan that he just started gets after this monster.

Owen knocked his first day out like a champ.

The Dancing Muffin kept Owen’s spirits high. What power she holds! The Muffin and the Munchkin (Muffin’s Mom), have been here at the house supporting Owen and spending Father’s Day with him. It’s always wonderful having them here with us.

Today is day 2. Summer is my least favorite season. This year, more than ever, I want this summer to be done. Now.
