Yea… the shutdown has me stressed out. You would think that I would have created enough craft stuff to sell at the next craft fair but no. Although I did just make a little makeup bag for my dear friend J in Wisconsin ♥️

And…. Crochet pooling has gotten me frustrated so I started a chevron blanket.

My dear friend J surprised me with a care package full of goodies she had sewn including an amazing pumpkin purse that I can’t wait to take out.

This woman can do it all… quilt, crochet, make cards… I wanna be like her!

Owen had a great golf day yesterday and today we started the morning with a walk around our neighborhood.

The Munchkin and the Muffin are coming here for Halloween!!! I can’t wait to see the girls… I miss them so much.

With the shutdown I have been anti-leaving the house. But with Owen’s need to get out of the house, I have crawled out when he has asked.

Owen has been deep into his mortality. Knowing that he is in month 17 when he was told to prepare for 18 months really weighs a lot. But he is seeing past the 18 months. He sees people with GBM on a group he’s in and seeing that people are pushing to five years. But that is still not that long.

His most recent conversation about it did a number to my sleep. Woke up at 2 and couldn’t get back to sleep.

Life has been bumpy but we have been traversing this together. I can’t imagine it without him by my side.

We had a bunch of overly ripe bananas a few days ago and I decided I would make banana bread with it. Turned out well but next time I need chocolate chips and some walnuts.

The Dodgers will be on at 1938 tonight. Better get my blue on!

Wednesday night, Owen took his first anti-nausea pill and Thursday was a new day for him. 180 degrees. He is eating and he feels good again. Like I called it before, it’s a miracle drug. Me… oh boy. I

The MRI shows cancer progression. Owen has been beaten up with the nausea. I know that this has been a huge factor to his mental status. He is not in a good place. But I drove us to BAMC after leaving

Not a good start to our day. Owen’s trial medication requires us to document exact time that he takes the medication. He must take the meds at the same time everyday, plus or minus 15 minutes. Because
