Owen had a good day yesterday, R6, C9. He had some pep in his step and made it a productive day at home while I was working.
Today, Owen’s radiology oncologist will likely come by to see him while he’s in the hospital for his treatment. And tomorrow, we go to see Dr. B, Owen’s neurosurgeon.
One of Owen’s top questions will be related to his recent unsupervised takeover of my car while I ran into my office building, lol. I told my coworkers that he thinks he is James Dean. We will see what Dr. B says.
Owen took a pic to share with some folks that wanted to see his antique floats and I tell ya, he’s got some artsy fartsy going on because it was a beautiful pic that I’m sharing with you.

It’s also going to serve as the pre-chaos pic before all the flooring and baseboards get ripped out.
Wall between our garage and utility room was constructed and finished yesterday. WOW, so nice to have our laundry machines hooked up again!
When Owen was admitted to the hospital last month, there was a lot of me sitting with him in the hospital waiting for that day he could be discharged. In that time, I started the Journey Blanket. There is still a lot to go but I wanted to snap a pic of it.

Not the best picture at 5 in the morning but that’s ok. I’m done with about the first quarter of it. It is the Journey Blanket. I love crocheting and you may know (or you may not) that I don’t have enough yarn 🤣.
Yea, I’m the chic with the LED lights around my neck during darker hours so I can see what I’m doing. Eerily fitting the grandma profile but I’m the awesome and cool grandma so I don’t care!
Taking Owen out for a drive has helped keep his spirits up. This is what we saw a few miles down the street from our house.
No we don’t live anywhere near a zoo. Someone just happens to own 6 zebras in the neighborhood. Crazy!

So cool! They have both kinds of zebras!
