Hurricane Beryl did some damage in Katy.

Mis lost her power for a few hours but it was restored.

And then the Muffin emerged with an awesome shirt.

The Muffin wears grey for her Ji-ji. ♥️

Owen said that his radiation treatments are getting longer. He thinks that the previous weeks were like intro treatments.

Today was day 1 of the flooring project. They pulled all our baseboards out. And they put in the flooring in our breakfast area, pantry, and half of the laundry room. So we have access to the kitchen right now. Yay. They should have the kitchen done tomorrow.

Our neighbors M & K surprised us this afternoon with a tray of fresh fruit and some fantastic brownies. They are always so thoughtful and we are super lucky to have awesome neighbors. Owen said he was ready to do 9 holes at a local course down the street with them. Golf is not my thing. I am too loud and fired up for this sport. It’s already an expensive sport and I’d make it more expensive by the clubs I’d break in half for a poorly executed shot. Back to topic, another great blessing is being around wonderful people who care. Owen and I are beyond blessed.
