21. R16, C24 Wednesday July 10

This week has been tough.

Hurricane Beryl took out Munchkin’s power.

The Muffin went to the ER.

The Muffin is fighting a fever and is resting. Spending good quality time with mom, the Munchkin.

So Monday night, I learned that my strength had a ceiling.

I think these events drained energy from me and Owen. Yesterday morning and on the way to the hospital, a driver decided to wreak havoc and it almost had a trailer in our front windshield. And so we were on edge for the rest of the day, unfortunately.

The noise from the construction in the house is not helping Owen. There isn’t much peace upstairs.

BUT the crew got flooring down in the rest of the kitchen and almost all of our living room. The crazy rain and wind from Beryl halted efforts for a little bit because the saw for the flooring was outside but Owen saw the storm rolling in and saved the crew’s equipment from the down pour.

Owen has finally reached the half way point with this round of radiation. Yay! Three more weeks to go!

We can see that his appetite is getting smaller. But his snacking is unchanged lol.

I am currently fasting for labs that I have later today.
