Today is the last day of this chemo round for Owen. I don’t think he knows that he is at the strength that knocked him down a few months ago. He is doing great. That anti-nausea pill, the super pill, is just crazy powerful.
We start family time this week with a house full of M’s.
The Munchkin and the Muffin will be here. And our MO friends who are really family will be here too, five more M’s.
As we approach Thanksgiving, I think of all these blessings we have been bestowed with since we found out about the cancer. We fight and will continue to fight but we have such an army of support with us. It’s unbelievable. I am so grateful.
And so looking at 2024, we found out this horrible news but we have adjusted to a life of appreciating every moment. Realizing that there are things that we burn energy on that really just don’t matter. Focusing on family more.
And so I don’t want 2024 to end so fast. We have much more to experience!
Another thing I have never done in my life, happened this year…. Christmas decorations came out before thanksgiving. No, I didn’t put the tree up just yet. But fall deco is slowly getting pulled early.
Owen pulled out the heated blanket for Lily and Poppy. They definitely love sleeping on that blanket!
I’m so happy you pulled out the Christmas decor early! Love you guys!
