2025 didn’t seem real when Prince was singing about partying like it was 1999.
Owen and I had a relaxing Eve and day. All of San Antonio fire off half the world’s supply of fireworks and so it’s very easy to have great views from the comfort of our own backyard. It is funny to me that fireworks are completely illegal here yet you will find fireworks stands on every street.
Next week is the start of Owen’s next round of chemo. He’s been doing well. Nausea here and there but nothing significant.
For Christmas, I got Owen tickets to the Alamo Bowl. This was my first live bowl game. It was not a very competitive game but just the experience made it worth it. We stayed till halftime. That was as much of the crowd that Owen could handle. So driving out of downtown was a breeze because no one was leaving but us.
We are experiencing our first blast of winter cold right now. Temps have been hovering in the 30s and 40s. Was hoping that we would see some snow but nope.
I had 18 inches of hair chopped off my head yesterday.
It’s just something that happens every couple of years. I get totally sick of hair and just want it gone. I feel like I can turn my head now!
New things ahead for 2025.
