It took six years of evading…. But it finally caught me! My experience:

  • The I-got-run-over-by-a-truck-twice feeling was ten times worse! I felt every hair on my head, every nail….

  • Energy levels were in the negative.

  • The congestion was ridiculous. Sneezing, coughing, inability to use both nostrils at the same time. Ridiculous.

  • No fever at all.

  • No loss of taste or smell (when I could breathe thru my nose)

  • A constant desire to sleep.

  • No appetite

This was rough. BUT I was prescribed Paxlovid. Impressive medication as it cleared my head congestion really quick however the constant nasty taste in my mouth was miserable.

More importantly, Owen flew out to our close friends the day after I popped. So he didn’t have to be here during the time Covid was alive and kicking in the house.

AND for those who had to be in the house with me, Lily and Poppy, they did not get sick although I know Poppy was really trying to get sick. They both knew something was wrong with me. I had Lysol circulating in the vents lol.

I’m better now. Not 100% but so much better. Still coughing and sneezing but I have an appetite now.

Owen will be back for his MRI next week.

Next update will be the Owen update in a week or two.
