62. Slowing down a fast city

Yea, there’s no such thing. And we are now in Tokyo, my spirit city. This will be interesting because part of the fun here is getting right into the hustle bustle… jumping in and out of trains…. Walking at least 20,000 steps daily.

But this time, we are going to try to slow Tokyo down… to capture it. We have to reserve Owen’s energy and not blow through it before noon. That’s really hard to do here.


If you asked Owen where in the world he wants to be for good, it would be in Okinawa.

If you asked me the same question, it’d be Tokyo.


It’s the most populated city in the world but no trains are ever late. It is clean. There is respect… for everything, everyone. I guess that’s all of Japan… but it is quite amazing to see such a metropolitan function so well. I can’t get over how easy it is to get around this massive city.


On our way to Shinagawa. Just heard that the Pope passed away. On the Conclave begins…
