2. Day of the Surgery

Owen’s surgery was set for Monday morning. That picture on the left was a couple hours after his BRAIN SURGERY! He came out hungry!

The surgery was about two hours with no complications. The doctor said it couldn’t have gone any better than it did. Dr. B. was able to get the entire mass out.

He said it would take a few weeks for pathology to get back.

The picture in the middle and to the right were taken less than 24 hours after his surgery. Yes, he was ready to be discharged. I was a little concerned that the hospital was ready to send him home so soon but apparently Owen ran through every milestone required to be discharged.

Owen has to be the fastest recovery ever. Discharged a day and a few hours after a craniotomy.
